I really wish I had checked the reviews before reaching out to these scammers. They quoted me online for £135, but then they called and claimed that based on my photos, the cost would actually be £220, which I reluctantly accepted. I organized the items into groups to make it easier for them to pick up, only to be told upon arrival that the items didn’t match what I had shown. It was the same stuff, just laid out differently. Then the real trickery began when the boss called and presented me with three choices: take half of the items, pay more, or they would leave but still charge me a £50 cancellation fee. When I refused to pay any cancellation fee, the rude guy on the line threatened to have his legal team reach out. Steer clear of these con artists like the plague and go with someone trustworthy (or just rent a skip for the same price).

Absolutely terrible service. I set up a straightforward junk collection via their site. When they arrived, they attempted to justify a 50% price hike by saying I was being dishonest. They wouldn’t budge on any fair compromise. In the end, they went against the quoted price and left a bunch of junk scattered in the shared spaces. Had to inform the landlord and even the police about the damage.

A bin bag full of household trash was left in the front yard of my rental in SW London. Foxes got into it, tore it apart, and spread the mess everywhere. There was also a bag of hedge clippings and an old metal chair tossed in. Since I live far away, I couldn't handle it myself, so I reached out to Handy Rubbish. They showed up the same day, cleaned everything up, and even swept the area. I was really pleased with the service for just £80.00, which seemed like a great deal to me. If I ever have more rubbish to deal with, I’d definitely call them again. Highly recommend them, giving them five stars. Thanks a bunch, folks!

I wish I could rate this zero stars. The customer service was incredibly rude on the phone. They called me names and just hung up after I inquired about possibly lowering their price a little. I reached out to another rubbish removal service, and they provided outstanding service, completing the job in just 20 minutes. I definitely wouldn’t suggest Handy Rubbish to anyone.

I hired Handy Rubbish to take away some junk from our office in Central London. Right from the start, their communication was spot on, and they managed to come out super fast. I chose HANDY RUBBISH on a whim, looking for an easy way to get rid of 2 sofas and a double mattress. They provided a quote, sent an email to confirm it, and even gave me a reminder the day before. The team showed up right on time, and the whole removal process was smooth, quick, and tidy. The cost for two guys and a van for about 45 minutes felt reasonable. Honestly, I can't think of anything to complain about. I definitely recommend them!

I scheduled their services a minimum of two weeks ahead and was informed it would be at 9am. The evening prior, I received a voicemail stating it would be between 10 and 11am. Since my destination is a 45-minute drive away, I was frustrated when they left another voicemail saying they were delayed to 1pm, followed by yet another call pushing it to 3pm! I ended up wasting an entire day with nothing but apologies. To top it off, they kept tacking on extra charges for additional items! TOTAL JUNK (pardon the pun!)

I opted for a full truck service, and they managed to fit everything in like a puzzle. Plus, they followed up with a call to check if I was satisfied before processing the payment. I don’t often need this type of service, but I’d definitely choose Handy Rubbish again and would suggest them to friends.

Today, two workers came to take away our 3-seater leather sofa, footstool, and a knitting machine cabinet. They were super efficient and really polite. The sofa was pretty hefty and tricky to maneuver through our front door, but they took off the legs and managed to get it out in the end. I’d totally suggest this company for any furniture removals you can't handle on your own.
